apps are becoming big business on smartphones – this app is designed to
get you to a certain level of fitness during a variety of exercise
including jogging and marathon training as well as walking.
The app gives you a nine week schedule, designed to get you running
five kilometres without stopping, based on exercising three days a week
and sessions of 30-40 minutes at a time. You can alternate between
intervals of jogging and walking in an increasingly challenging set of
workouts.
The app will give you voice commands through your headphones (you can
have a male or female voice) while there are various other handy
aspects such as warm up exercises. It’s a good package – especially for
free – and if you are serious about getting fit over a short period of
time, it could provide a good programme for you.
