Download-install and Manual Update Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 N8000 with Official Kitkat 4.4.2 XXUDNE4

 How to update 10.1 N8000 Galaxy Note with Android OS 4.4.2 Kitkat:
Download Android 4.4.2 0S Kitkat Package from here to your computer along with the Odin file. Once downloaded, extract Odin in your computer and turn off the N8000 Galaxy Note 10.1.

    
Enter your N8000 Galaxy Note 10.1 in download mode. By holding the Volume Down key + Home key button (the middle button). Hold these two buttons, you must turn on your device.

    
If Galaxy Note 10.1 is in the normal mode, then you must use the command to retry the device into download mode.

    
Connect your tablet to your computer using the original USB cable. Assuming that Odin opened in your computer and ID: COM section is yellow / blue, click on "PDA" / tab "AP" in the Odin to the rooting file you after extracting the firmware package received, select click on "Start" in Odin.

    
Once you click "Start", you will now need to look for the whole process of the firmware is ready to wait. The whole process of firmware update will take about 3 -4 minutes and once done, the phone will automatically restart.

    
Once the device updates, you can now see that the device will reboot and it will take about 3 -5 minutes for setting up the machine.
Go to the path "Settings> About tablet" where you can check the firmware version 4.4.2 as Kitkat Android OS version XXUDNE4.
Note: If at all Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is in the boot loop sequence, then you must turn off the power, then at the update from the beginning. To turn the battery use or say you can long press the power button.

 How to Update Galaxy Note 10.1 N8000 with Kitkat 4.4.2 Android OS ?

Download and install Manual Update Galaxy Note 10.1 N8000 with Official Kitkat 4.4.2 Android Firmware

Procedure to Update Galaxy Note 10.1 N8000 with Kitkat 4.4.2 Firmware:
  • Turn Off your device so that it can be entered in the download mode. Download mode in Galaxy Note 10.1 can be entered by holding the Volume Down button + the Home key button (the middle button). While holding these both buttons, you need to switch ON your device. If the tablet enters in the normal mode, you need to retry the process of entering the device in the Download mode.
  • Open Odin in your computer and connect your Galaxy Tab 10.1 device to the computer while in the download mode to see ID: COM section turns Blue. Once it turns blue, it will indicate that all the required drivers are installed successfully and select below mentioned files in Odin.
- Add AP_N8000XXUDND5.tar.md5 to AP
- Add BL_N8000XXUDND5.tar.md5 to BL
- Add MODEM_N8000XXUDND2.tar.md5 to CP
- Add CSC_OXA_N8000OXADND5.tar.md5 to CSC
  • Make sure re-partition is NOT ticked in Odin. Once the above files are selected, click on “Start” to start the process of firmware update. It will take around 3 -4 minutes for applying the update. Once the firmware is applied, tablet will be rebooted automatically.
  • It will take 5 – 7 minutes for loading all the apps and applying the update in the device. Don’t disconnect the device from Odin till you see the home screen in your tablet. Once you see the home screen, you need to disconnect the device from computer.
  • Head over to the path “Settings > More > About Tablet” to check out the latest version of firmware which will be mentioned as Kitkat 4.4.2 OS with the version detail as XXUDND5.
Note:  If at all your Galaxy Note 10.1 N8000 gets in the boot loop sequence then you need to turn off the device and then reapply the update from the start. To turn off you can long press the power button.

Download and install Update Galaxy Note N8000 with Official Jellybean 4.1.2 XXCLL6 Firmware

 Procedure to Update XXCLL6 Jellybean 4.1.2 Firmware in Galaxy Note N8000:
  • Open Odin in your computer and turn Off your Galaxy Note N8000 10.1 device so that it can be entered in the download mode.
  • Hold Volume Down rocker key and holding this press the Power button till you see the Warning Screen. Now, on WARNING Screen you will have to press the Volume Up key to enter the device in the download mode.
  • Once your device gets in the download mode, connect your tablet to the computer with the help of original USB cable and then you shall see that in Odin the ID : COM section will turn Yellow indicating that all the drivers have been successfully installed.
  • Now, click on “PDA” tab in Odin and select the tar file which you got after extracting the firmware zip file. Once selected, you need to click on “Start” for starting the process of firmware update.
  • The whole process of firmware update may take about 3 -5 minutes. Once the firmware is update, your tablet will be rebooted automatically and once you see the home screen in your tablet, you can then disconnect the device from computer.
  • Now, to check whether the firmware is updated or not, head over to the path “Settings > About Tablet” where you will get to see the firmware version as jellybean 4.1.2 XXCLL6.
Users Facing Force Close Issues:
Turn Of your Galaxy Note N8000 to enter your device in the recovery mode. In the recovery mode select Wipe data/factory reset and also you need to select Wipe Cache partition and then reboot your device by selecting reboot system now option.
Note: Just in a rare case if the device doesn’t boot up or show the home screen then remove the battery and reinsert the same to boot the device again in the normal mode.

Download and install - Update Galaxy Note 10.1 N8000 with Official Jellybean 4.1 XXBLJ9 Firmware

Procedure to Update Galaxy Note N8000 10.1 tablet with XXBLJ9 Jellybean 4.1 firmware:
  • Open odin in your computer and turn Off your tablet so that it can be entered in the Download Mode.
  • Now, hold Volume Down rocker key and holding this press the Power button till you see the Warning Screen. Now, on WARNING Screen you will have to press the Volume Up key to enter the device in the download mode.
  • In download mode, connect your device to the computer with the help of original USB cable and select the “N8000XXBLJ9_N8000OXABLJ9_412156_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5” file in “PDA” in Odin. Once the file is selected, click on “Start” to commence the process of firmware update.
  • As soon as the firmware is updated successfully, you now need to wait for the device to show the country selector after which you can disconnect the device connected with computer. The whole process of firmware update may take around 7 – 10 minutes. Also, once the update is applied, the device will take longer time than usual for booting the device.
  • To check whether your phone is updated or not, head over to the path “Settings > About Phone” where you will get to see the firmware version as Jellybean 4.1 XXBLJ9.
Users Facing Force Close Issues:
