- Download the SGSII JB V10 based Jellybean 4.1 firmware package from here to your computer. Once downloaded, you now will have to connect your device to the computer with the help of original USB cable and place the same in your device. Ensure that you are not placing the zip file deep into the sub folders.
- The recovery mode in the Galaxy ACE S5830 can be entered by Holding Menu Button and then Power ON the device. If the device turns ON in the normal mode then you need to try again to enter into the recovery mode. Alternatively, you can also enter your Galaxy ACE S5830 in the recovery mode with the help of “ROM Manager” app.
- In the recovery mode, you need to select “install zip from sd card” > “choose zip from sd card” and then choose the SGSII JB V10 based Jellybean 4.1 firmware package which is placed in the phone.
- Once the zip file is selected, it will take around 4 – 5 minutes for applying this update and to show up the home screen as it has to finalize the firmware in the device.
Tip: If your Galaxy ACE doesn’t power up or say it gets into the boot loop mode, you need to re insert the battery and then re try the process of firmware update by following the above steps.Once you are done with the above mentioned steps, by now the firmware would have been updated.
