The leaked GT B5330 as a BlackBerry style device is now a true reality as Samsung has officially announced the launch of Galaxy Chat. Samsung Galaxy Chat GT B 5330 is the first phone from Samsung to feature with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system which will be seen with QWERTY layout keyboard. Now we have very limited number of QWERTY layout smart phones, HTC Chacha is the one which we can remember. Earlier most of the United States carrier based models used to be with QWERTY layout following the trend among the users but ever since Android has revolutionized everything, things have been changed quickly and full touchscreen came into picture.

Samsung Galaxy Chat GT with model number as B5330 is with sleek and compact design. This is will 3 inches touchscreen display on the top and bottom side you see the full QWERTY keypad for faster typing where ever required. The three physical buttons Menu, Home and back are moved just below the display screen and above the QWERTY keypad. The smart phone is loaded with Samsung’s ChatOn social service connect allows sers to use any platform within a single community providing group chatting. 

Galaxy Chat is also with convenient settings to easily monitor and keep a track on data usage month by month. It’s with several other Samsung services like Games Hub, Social Hub and Music hub. The AllShare Play allows users to play multimedia to any other connected devices. There is Quick Office application integration which allows you to easily view and edit wide range of documents like Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs, Google Spreadsheet and Google Presentation. The S Planner app allows you to manage your schedule in an easy and understandable way.

Going through the hardware specifications of the smart phone, it’s with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich pre installed on it and it would be interesting to see how QWERTY keypad in in response to Android 4.0 device. This includes 2 mega pixel camera on the rear side and Wi Fi internet access along with 3G. It has 1200 mAh battery and comes with 4 GB of internal memory alongside with micro SD card slot to expand the storage further you want. It would also see Bluetooth 3.0 the advance technology of wireless file transfer.

The Galaxy Chat GT B5330 will be available from July end in Spain followed with the launch in other European countries. It will also arrive in Latin America, Middle East countries, India, China, South East Asia and South West Asia.
