How to Install Android 4.1 Jelly Bean ROM / Firmware for Samsung Galaxy S2 ?
- Make sure the phone on which you are going to install this ROM is Samsung Galaxy S2 GT-I9100.
- Root and install ClockworkMod recovery on your phone.
- Download the latest alpha version of the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean ROM from here – Free Download.
- Turn on USB debugging on your phone and then connect it with the computer using a data cable.
- Now, transfer the .zip file of the Jelly Bean ROM onto your device’s SD card so that you can flash it straight away using CWM recovery.
- Turn off your phone & boot into recovery mode by pressing and holding these buttons for a while - Volume Down + Home + Power Buttons.
- Select – Wipe Data/Factory Reset from the main of CWM recovery.
- Then select - Wipe Dalvik Cache while you already are booted into recovery mode.
- Now select - Install Zip from SDCard > Choose ZIP from SDCard.
- Choose the .zip file of the unofficial Jelly Bean ROM from your SD card and then confirm your selection by selecting – Yes – Install_.ZIP.
- Now, select - ++++ Go Back ++++ and then – Reboot System Now.
That’s it, you have done it. This latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system is now installed on your Galaxy S II. Was that quite an easy procedure ? will all functionalities (like video call, camera etc) of samsung galaxy s2 work fine after installing the android jellybean os on it. are there any issues that can be faced after installing jellybean.
