How to Root Galaxy S2 HD LTE SGH I757M on ICS Firmware

 

Procedure to Root & Install Custom Recovery in Galaxy S2 HD LTE SGH I757M:

• Download Odin as well as Zip File from here to your computer. Once downloaded, you now need to ensure that both the .exe as well as .ini file is extracted successfully.

• Up next you need to download the tar file for CWM which is cwm_5.5.0.4_recovery.tar. Ensure that you are not extracting the file.

• Turn Off your device so that it can be entered into the download mode. Download mode in Galaxy S2 HD LTE SGH I757M can be entered by pressing Volume down Key, Center button, and holding both simultaneously press the Power Button after which you will get to see a green robot indicating that the device has entered in the download mode.

You can try entering the device in the recovery mode. Recovery mode in Galaxy S II can be entered by pressing Volume Up Key, Center button, and holding both simultaneously press the Power Button.

Tip: If the device gets into the boot loop mode or refuses to turn ON, then re insert the battery and follow the instructions from the start.
