Procedure to Update Samsung Galaxy ACE S5830 with Revolution Light Custom ROM Firmware:
  • Download the Revolution Custom ROM Firmware package from here to your computer. Once downloaded connect your device to the computer with the help of original USB cable and place the downloaded zip file in the internal memory of your device.
  • Now, disconnect the device from computer and download the ROM Manager app from the Google PLAY Store. Open ROM Manager app and select the option of “FLASH Clock Work mod Recovery” so that the custom recovery image is flashed.   • The recovery mode in the Galaxy ACE S5830 can be entered by Holding Menu Button and then Power ON the device. If the device turns ON in the normal mode then you need to try again to enter into the recovery mode.
  • In the recovery mode, you need to select “install zip from sd card” > “choose zip from sd card” and then choose the Cyanogen Mod 7.2 Firmware Zip file which is placed in the phone.

  • Download the Remics Custom ROM Firmware Package from here to your computer. Once downloaded, connect your phone to the computer with the help of original USB cable and then place the zip file in your device. Disconnect the device and turn off the phone so that it can be entered in recovery mode. The recovery mode can be entered by pressing the Volume Down Key + OK button, and holding both simultaneously press the Power Button.

How to Update
Android 4.1.2 to the GSM Galaxy Nexus owner is pushed via Over the Air update and the file size of this update is not too large but still it’s recommended that you should update while you are connected to a WI Fi network in your area. Many users have received the update notification on their device and if you have received such, you just need to follow the onscreen instructions to apply the updates to Android 4.1.2. Your phone will be restarted automatically and you will see the Android 4.1.2 new features added.
Alternatively if you have not received the update notification then you should check for the update manually.
